Banshee Phantom V3 – The Original Downcountry, Short-Travel 29er.

When the Phantom hit the trails in 2015, there wasn’t really a category for this kind of fast-riding, short-travel 29er. The term “downcountry” didn’t exist yet, and 29er skeptics believed that a bike with these specs was only suited for XC and couldn’t be fun. But the Phantom helped define an entirely new class.

The Phantom V3 proves that 29ers can absolutely be fun and that the short-travel 29er shred-sled is here to stay. Now equipped with the KS2 linkage and offering 115mm of rear travel, the Phantom V3 is light and agile, with an incredible trail feel and just the right amount of feedback. Forgiving enough when you’re pushing the limits or when the terrain challenges you. An absolute thrill to ride, no matter where the trail takes you!
